Cagliari is connected to the main European cities through the airport Elmas International Airport, from which you can reach the city center thanks to a special shuttle bus that stops in Piazza Matteotti, located between the port and the railway station, the service taxi or rent-‐a-‐car.
Moving in Cagliari is very simple: the public transport network consists of the metro line, the local and regional bus.
You can also use one of the many taxis in service or rent a private car at the town center or the airport.
The port of Cagliari is an important point of call for ships of the line (from Genoa, Rome-‐Civitavecchia, Naples and Palermo) and cruise ships sailing in the Mediterranean.
The city is connected by train to Sassari-‐Porto Torres and Olbia. Both the Port that the train station are located close to the streets of downtown.
The district of Villanova, historically kingdom of artisans and horticulturists, is a short walk from the Opera House and the music’s park.
The B & B Sorcinelli is perfectly served by public transport, which will take you to the port, to the hospital Brotzu and extraordinary Poetto beach, that is fifteen minutes by car.
Do not miss the Holy Week, when processions of Spanish origin invade the streets of Villanova to come up to the Castle and the Cathedral of Pisan.
